Designtime Residential (dthomeplans.com) is an architectural design firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina, specializing in custom home plans across a range of styles — modern, farmhouse, craftsman, cottage, and more. The business had invested in its Google Business Profile, but that investment had gone in the wrong direction. Service names were stuffed with location keywords, and the profile was carrying the kind of optimization patterns that Google’s April 2026 enforcement update started penalizing aggressively.

The profile was flagged as high-risk for suspension — and in May 2026, that risk became reality. This was exactly the kind of case that reinforced why we take geo-stuffing cleanup so seriously across every profile we touch.

What We Did

Description Rewrite

We wrote a new 750-character description — hitting the maximum character limit — that positions Designtime Residential as the go-to architectural designer in the Charlotte area. The description covers their core specialties: custom home plans, architectural design, modern homes, farmhouse designs, craftsman styles, and cottage plans. Natural, readable copy that gives Google context without triggering any stuffing flags.

60 Services With Descriptions

We built out 60 services covering architecture, home plans, house plans, and style-specific offerings — modern home design, farmhouse plans, craftsman architecture, cottage designs, and Charlotte-area residential design. Each service has a unique description focused on what the service involves and who it serves. We identified French Country and European style services as keyword gaps that could be added in future updates.
